It started snowing early in the evening and gave the appearance of being a "sticking" coat. At 12:30am (just after my "go to bed" alarm went off), I started down the back stairs to switch the last load of laundry but stopped at the back door slightly weirded out by how light it was outside. I grabbed my camera. And no, we don't have any streetlights, area lights, etc. near our backyard it was just this light. At midnight! Weird, huh?
After observing the snow, the kids decided it should be examined more closely and so we began the process of layering up. I always smear a good coating of vaseline over Court's face to try and protect his excema prone cheeks. He got a head start.
Turns out, our friends had the same idea regarding the snow. Anna and I got a little workout huffing down (and up) the bike path to the "sledding hill".
The after sledding snack: warm milk and crackers. (And yes, that milk is pink per Luca's request.)

Love the jolly Court on the porch and your two cuties on the sled. And I also love that you set for yourself a going to bed alarm . . . there is a certain night owl I live with who could really benefit from that practice, but we won't name any names. ;o)
I was going to make a similar comment to Janna's about loving the picture of Court standing on the porch. There is just something about a little boy lovin life that just *melts* me!
