My Hollyhocks bloomed this year...I LOVE them.
We have an 8ft tomato plant this year too. When you don't prune it and keep bracing it, it keeps on growing up!
It provided us with our first batch of salsa
And one more photo: we called this our dolphin cucumber :)

Love that dolphin cuke. ;o) I planted hollyhocks too this year--not nearly as big or pretty as yours but they did at least bloom! What a fabulous looking tomato plant!!
Oh I ADORE hollyhocks! (Did you make those little dolls out of them as a kid?) And your trellis is beautiful (AND genius)...I'm taking notes on your garden. *LOVE* the idea of going vertical. Keep us updated on the pumpkin drama! ;) May you be blessed with success.
