Mini-Me and Mini-You

I'm fascinated by similarities in family members, how God can have someone look just like a sibling or a parent and yet be completely their own special version too. Examples from our house:

Luca and Me:

Although Luca is very much my mini-me, if you look at her smile, it's a carbon copy of Grandma Cindy's:

And then you can add in my side of the family and find even more similarities. In three generations- Mom, Me and Luca:

Of course we all know that Court is a little copy of his Daddy:

But I can see my Dad there too...

And then, (at least in their Mommy's eyes) Court and Luca look like each other too!

This is so fun! I'm especially struck by the comparison of Court and your dad, because you're right, while I think he is a mini-Joe, I do see something of your dad in his face. So neat!!

Oh, these are such well-chosen shots, Brooke! And btw, you were an adorable little thing...I especially liked Court's comparisons with his dad and your dad. *WOW* So fun to see...amazing, the Creator's design in passing down 'looks.' :)

...and I LOVE the arbor Joe built you! Very cool.

I can't believe that this is what we all come from. I can't tell the difference between Court and Luca in the very early days.
