My sweet Bean Girl
I was a tad over-eager for spring and so my pansies had to spend the week in the basement.
A boy and "his" power tools.
The first day of spring! We bundled up in our parkas and made our way to Noah's house to construct our rainbow cupcakes.
Court was more interested in the deconstructing of a cupcake
Court built a tinker-toy Christmas tree (in Court-speak: a "tih-ma-tee") and boy, was he proud of it. He brought it to Daddy as soon as he got home and we had to keep it on display throughout the day.
This is what you find when you think the kids are playing "Fort" on your bed. Somehow the game must have morphed into "Bank Heist" with 300 Q-tips as accomplices.
Joe was practicing his cast (new rod and reel) in the backyard and the kids thought it was hilarious to try and catch the lure before he got it reeled in. They looked like little cats, batting at the air and trying to pounce on it.

Your cupcakes turned out so cute, and Court seems pretty enthused with the project. ;o) I love his little tree and proud face and I so glad you saved the pansies from destruction! I am curious how the stuff in the yard that began to grow will handle this (last??!?) freeze.
